admiration and thanks. The product that you offered to
Detroit Public Television has been a terrific success
in our fundraising efforts.
As you know, we offered the 3-night Emerald vacation
package to our viewers during our 31st televised Auction.
The destinations were exciting and the response from our
viewers was great! We sold over 1,100 packages which
generated more than $100,000 net profit in support of our
programming.
Your terrific vacation destinations and presentation are
what attracted us to Fennell Promotions, but it was the
terrific customer service that we have received that has
kept us happy. Your staff is always responsive to our
needs. Compliments to Diana Day, Schjuana, Mark, Lynn
and everyone at Fennell Promotions.
I would be remiss if I did not thank you personally for
doing everything you could to guarantee our success. Your
commitment to making our program work was evident when you
flew to Detroit to help present our "travel bargains" on
the air. I know the "bright lights" were a new experience
for your humble ways and I must say that you handled
yourself like a pro. Sharing your personal knowledge about
the destinations and answering viewer's phone calls was
more than we could have asked for. Thank you Frank and
please thank your family for us. I know that we pulled
you away from your family for two weekends.
We have received many postcards from happy travelers. If
the success of the 1999 "Travel Bargain" is any indication,
I can only imagine what will happen in 2000. The 170+ new
destinations you recently added have added more excitement
to the program. I expect that Detroit Public Television and
Fennell Promotions will enjoy a long and successful
relationship.
