Let me take a few minutes to thank you for assisting me in putting together a tremendous campaign with the $100 Certificates.
To say the least, we were a little skeptical when we first reviewed your concept. How can we afford to give away a $100 certificate every time a consumer spends $100 at one of our stores? Not only did your organization pull off this feat, you were able to bring our price in line by bringing us Colgate as the sponsoring company.
From the beginning you explained that our consumers in the Philadelphia area would travel all over the country and they have, even to our surprise! You also explained that our competitors would call wanting the rights to this campaign and they have. You said that our Bonus Club Card members would increase their spending and push harder to win multiple $100 certificates and again, you were correct.
We had already made the decision to sign up for multiple promotions for 1997. However, knowing that our competitors want a "Copy-Cat" promotion reinforced our decision to sign up for additional promotions to receive a category exclusive campaign.
Your company has illustrated professionalism and flexibility in every aspect of executing our "Spend $100, Get $100" campaign.
